With our Read-Aloud Poster for The Hobbit, you’ll travel with Bilbo, Gandalf, and the dwarves on their adventure. Activities include: • vignettes to draw important story events • language features - dragon words and metaphors • character portraits and profiles of Middle Earth Dwellers • and more. Plus, we've included Read-Aloud Poster favorites: discussion questions, reader evaluations, and a chapter tracker! Heads up: To do justice to this classic, we’ve created an exciting new poster format. Out of two poster sheets, you’ll construct a graduated booklet using some cut-and-glue magic (don’t worry, it’s a snap!). The pages you see feature beautiful story-setting artwork to color, while beneath them hide the language activity blocks (and some menacing characters, too!). We think this book works best as a read-aloud for upper elementary-age kids all the way up to adults, but you know your family best!
